Jacqui Jeffress, Broker Associate at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Westminster, received the "Realtor of the Year" Award at the North Metro Denver Realtor Association's (NMDRA) Annual Inauguration, held on September 8, 2005, at Stonebrook Manor in Thornton.

Jeffress is a 13-year veteran of real estate sales and services. She holds the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designations, and is a past president at NMDRA. Jeffress began her real estate career at Coldwell Banker at the Ranch in 1992, and still works from the same office. Since January 2003, she has assisted more than 70 individuals and families with the sale or purchase of a new home, resulting in nearly $20 million in total sales volume.

Jeffress is involved in several community organizations and non-profits in the north Denver metro area. She has lent her time and talents as an instructor, teaching Agent Orientation, and sharing real estate tips with new members of NMDRA, while also serving as Chairman of the organization's International Committee for the past two years. In January and February 2005, NMDRA hosted one of the nation's most successful Certified International Property Specialist classes in the organization's history. Jeffress spearheaded efforts to promote the event on a local and national level, attending conventions and generating interest in professional trade magazines and in the business and real estate sections of The Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post. With the help of committee members, Jeffress was able to obtain sponsorships for numerous events during the eight-day educational sessions, with Realtors in attendance from as far away as California and Florida. She is currently working on plans for CIPS courses to be held in January and February 2006 at NMDRA.

Jeffress also works on the state level as a member of the Colorado Association of Realtors International Committee. She currently sits on the Hungarian Trade Mission committee. The Colorado Association of Realtors is hosting eight Hungarian businesspeople on a trade mission to Denver this October.
